WineIndulgence, WineEnjoyment and WineArchitecture come together at the highest level without compromise in the new Römerhof vinotheque.
The monumental vinotheque, which will be completed in spring 2020, promises tasting in an extraordinary atmosphere of enjoyment.
It is the new, modern tasting centre that awaits you at fixed opening hours. The striking, architecturally exciting vinotheque is currently the largest Römerhof investment in the future.
The more complex the world, the greater the longing for simplicity - for minimum instead of maximum. The idea behind the vinotheque is to present wine customers with an unforgettable tasting atmosphere in a contemporary, purist architecture inspired by the Roman roots and history of this region. The orientation towards ancient Roman architecture is primarily reflected in structural elements such as the cubic shape of the building and an exterior monumental portico with projecting window fronts.
Integrated into the existing architectural context of the old winegrowers' and farmers' house of the Schmitz family, the spacious terrace of the vinotheque is impressive. It allows the visitor to look directly onto the steep slopes of the Moselle, where the Römerhof wine grows. From here, he has a unique direct view of many of the winery's plots and enjoys the wine from the site he sees straight in front of him.
The Römerhof vinotheque promises pure lifestyle - modern, contemporary wine culture that has found a place to feel at home.
A strong piece of new Moselle.
